Disability Allotment Project Gallery

Our project started in 2016-17 in partnership with Heston West Big Local we were able to receive a grant for £16,000 from Tesco's Bags for Help. The initial grant helped us build several raised beds, disabled toilet, fencing and compost. This was followed by several successful grants including Mayor of London (£15,000) to expand our allotment and plant over 50 new trees. We have been kindly supported by Heston Action Group, Heston West Big Local and London Borough of Hounslow. We are now in process of expanding our space at the allotment and hope to build more raised beds and a community garden. To date we have engaged with over 350 local people including an incredible 70 volunteers from our local Heston and Cranford community. We have also been supported by our MP Seema Malhotra and Cranford Community College.
